Mizan Aman Health Sciences College is the only health science college located in Mizan Aman, Bench Sheko zone, Southwest Ethiopian People’s Regional Government, Ethiopia which is around 568 kms far from Adis Abeba. When the college was established with training health extension workers from the pastoral areas in the former S/N/N/P/R of the country. Currently, by increasing its admission capacity and departments for the candidates from S/W/E/P/R for mid-level health professionals in formal diploma programs in various training fields, namely Comprehensive Clinical Nursing, Midwifery, Medical laboratory; Health Information Technology, Emergency medical technician, Pharmacy Technician and Health Extension workers. Additionally, It is licensed in three formal degree programs in Nursing, Midwifery, and Medical Laboratory Science. Currently it is enrolling and teaching private students in two of them, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science.
